High pressure forces water behind boards and strips paint. Soft washing kills the growth and rinses it off without touching the paintwork. Painted timber comes up looking freshly done, not freshly damaged.
Render and painted brick
Render is porous and holds algae in every pore, which is why rendered homes go green on the south side first. Soft washing kills the growth inside the surface instead of shaving the top off, so the clean lasts longer.
Brick, eaves, fascia and cobwebs
Bare brick can take a little more, but mortar joints can’t, so the pressure still matches the surface. Eaves, fascia, gutter faces and cobwebs are all part of a full house wash.

Jack has done two job for me . First time to clean out blocked gutters . The gutters were extra high and Jack worked safely and did a professional job . Second time was to clean all outside windows , which were quite dirty .He had the right gear for the job and took extra care to get the windows spotless

What’s the difference between soft washing and pressure washing?
Soft washing uses low pressure with cleaning solutions to safely remove mould, algae and stains from painted walls, weatherboard, render and brick. Pressure washing uses high pressure and suits concrete and hard surfaces. Your house gets soft washed.
Will soft washing damage paint or render?
No. It’s designed to be safe on paint, render, weatherboard, brick and stone. The low pressure means no risk to your paint, seals or the material underneath.
